Pirates have four earn All-CVC postseason honors
Following the close of the 2025 regular season, three members of the Porterville College baseball team received All-Central Valley Conference postseason awards.
Sophomore Jimmy Martinez leads the way for the Pirates as he earned first-team All-Central Valley Conference honors at first base and was also named to the CVC Gold Glove Team.
Second-team all-conference accolades went to sophomore pitcher Jonah Ward, sophomore infielder Gio Chavez, and freshman outfielder Tyler Stansberry. Stansberry was a double-award winner as he was also selected to the Gold Glove Team.
Porterville wrapped up the season with a 13-27 overall record in 2025 and finished sixth in the final Central Valley Conference standings with an 8-16 mark. The Pirates are led by head coach J.L. Buchanan.
