Pirates Baseball have 11 moving to next level
Porterville College baseball head coach J.L. Buchanan continues to move his student-athletes out to the next level. Following the close of the 2025 season, Buchanan announced 10 players from that squad had signed letter of intent to continue their academic and athletic careers at four-year programs.
The 10 transfer destinations range from NAIA all the way up to NCAA Division I programs:
Name – College – Level
Hank Allred - Alcorn State University – NCAA D1
Nick Torres - Fresno Pacific University – NCAA D2
Rafa Jimenez - Barber-Scotia College – NCAA D2
August Malom - Florida National University – NAIA
Braden Parmley - Florida National University – NAIA
Jonah Ward - Milligan University – NAIA
Jimmy Martinez - Midland University – NAIA
Gio Chavez - Midland University – NAIA
Nolan Arnold - Evangel University – NAIA
Ricky Perez - Oregon Tech University – NAIA
And earlier this fall, PC added to that list with the addition of Porterville native Louie Torres committing to play at NCAA Division I Fresno State after the 2026 season.
