BAKERSFIELD – Jemarcus Brown came off the bench to post a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds for Porterville College in a 75-57 loss at Bakersfield College on Tuesday night.
The Pirates are still in search of their first win and are 0-2 to open the 2025-26 season.
Marcus Watts Jr. added 11 points, Andre Bly scored 8 points, and David Johnson added 7 points for the Pirates.
Porterville is back in action on Saturday (Nov. 15) when the Pirates travel to Victor Valley College for a 3 p.m. non-conference game.
