Led by freshman Rafael Hurtado’s 22nd place showing, the Porterville College men’s cross country team totaled 158 points to finish in sixth place at the Bakersfield College Invitational on Friday.
The 2019 cross country season officially got underway on Saturday for Porterville College at the Fresno Invitational at Woodward Park. The Pirates had a full men’s team of five runners compete at the event while the PC women were represented by two student-athletes.
