Message from Coach Davis:
One of the greatest joys of teaching at the California Community College level is the ethnic, cultural, and social diversity of its student, faculty, and staff population. I’ve had the opportunity to experience wide ranges of ethnic, culturally, economically, and diverse backgrounds. My work experiences in the Bay Area, Northern California, and the Central Valley has placed me in contact with students and faculty from such diverse backgrounds as the inner city, rule areas, and different countries. I’ve also had the great pleasure of working with the adaptive physical education and geriatric population. What I have found through these experiences is that you treat people as individuals rather than generalizations. I have learned to value and respect the diverse viewpoints and individual differences of all people. Because of these experiences, I feel I’m a well-rounded team player, who is at ease with faculty, staff, coaches, student athletes, parents, and community members.
