LONG BEACH – The Porterville College women's basketball team suffered a 73-50 non-conference loss at Long Beach City College in its last game on Nov. 19.
The Pirates fell behind early and couldn't erase a 25-10 first-quarter deficit.
Andrea Perez led PC with 19 points while Danae Banuelos posted a double-double with 14 points and a team-high 11 rebounds.
Porterville dropped to 3-4 overall on the season. The Pirates will take some time off for the Thanksgiving break and will be back in action on Dec. 2 to play at Compton College.
PC will spend December on the road and will return home to play on Jan. 15 against Taft College.
