LANCASTER – The Porterville College women's volleyball team is still in search of its first win after a tough 3-0 loss at Antelope Valley College on Friday. AVC took the match by scores of 25-6, 25-19, and 25-17.
The Pirates totaled 11 kills in the match, led by 3 kills each from Janelle Sanchez and Natalia Martin. Alyssa Nunez led PC with 8 digs and Jolina Castaneda totaled 6 blocks.
Porterville fell to 0-6. The Pirates are back in action on Wednesday (Sep. 10) when they travel to Victor Valley College for a 5 p.m. non-conference match.
