SONORA – Sophomore Victoria Dabney totaled 11 kills to help lead the Porterville College women's volleyball team to a 3-0 sweep at Columbia College on Friday.
The Pirates won the Central Valley Conference contest by scores of 25-13, 25-11, and 25-17 to snap a four-match losing streak. The victory improved PC to 7-12 overall and 4-5 in conference play.
Dabney added 4 digs and a pair of aces to her big night on the court. Davina Lopez contributed 7 kills and 4 blocks while Reyna Ellis had a good all-around match with 14 assists, 4 kills, 3 aces, and 4 digs.
Rilynn Fien led PC with 15 assists and Andrea Frausto had a team-high 11 digs.
Porterville is back in action on Nov. 26 when it hosts Merced College in a Central Valley Conference match.
